We had a great time at SNAME Maritime Convention in Bellevue, Washington! Thanks to The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) for putting together a great event and to all the presenters, exhibitors, and other participants for inspiring the next generation of naval architects. We are happy to report that we had an excellent turnout of UBC students this year: 9 current M.Eng. NAME students, 5 recent M.Eng. NAME graduates, and 2 undergraduates student. We would also like to congratulate Oleksiy Serdyuk, Vincent Chung, James Cardno, Jaden Yoo, and Antonio Peralta, who were winners of the Dr. James A. Lisnyk Student Ship Design Competition!
